maradns software package provides simple security-focused authoritative Domain Name Service server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maradns
maradns is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maradns package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maradns *
You will get with maradns package name, version, architecture and description in a table
